Problem with homing Z
« on: December 08, 2011, 07:50:10 AM »
I am new to this forum. I am in the process of setting up the new CNC router that I just build. After tuning all the motors and have them jog from the keyboard I have set and connected homing switches for all three axes. when I try to home using Home All the X and Y go to limits backs and zero but Z moves little change led to green and stops without touching limit. When I try to reference from diagnostic screen it does the same.
Please Help

You seem to be picking up noise on your wiring for the Z home switch. If it is not shielded and properly grounded that would b e the best thing to do. You could try increasing the Debounce Interval on General Config page, try at 2000 and lower if it helps to as low as you can get.
