short quest question!
Does Mach3 work with ActionScript 3 ?

short answer, no........  it is kinda being thought about though, for all the work that went into the flash stuff, it generated a low interest amoung the screen designer folks. Mostly due to the STEEP learning curve involved, and the cost of the Adobe software.

There would be MAJOR changes to go from AS2 to AS3, since they changed the way FScommand works, and to convert a Mach compatable AS2 screen to AS3 would be a major undertaking, basically an almost complete redesign. Given the Time needed (which for me at least), to generate a Flash screen. It is only worth it time wise to produce one to sell to an OEM, or your self.

Jason Blake is the "Hands Down", undisputed KING of all things Flash in Mach3. If you have specific questions, on the AS3 I would direct them toward him. I only really fool with the AS2 (have played with AS3), since AS2 is what currently works with M3.

I say mostly due to the complete lack of documentation.
