So your problem is you can not set puse width to 2 or 4?
I tried with your xml and its fine, in fact it was actually set to 2 fr pulse width a Dir was zero.

You xml works for me....maybe its the screen your using.
Try it with the standard 1024 mill screen.

What version of Mach are you using? May be that there was a problem with that at some point, dont recall ever hearing about such and issue though so only a wild guess.
