LazyCam Professional 3.0 Crashing - a lot
« on: August 09, 2011, 01:09:35 AM »
Hi,

Am having constant crashes with LazyCam - It happens so often, and in so many different ways, I will not bother to describe in great detail - but, for one, when using any of the image scanning tools, modifying the 'step' field will almost always cause it to crash.

I have installed this on several different computers, and within one or two sessions the program is totally non functional..  Re-installing helps, a little, sometime, but is not a reliable fix. The crash message usually advises me about "Gldraw1", and to contact artsoft... Anyone else having this problem/has some ideas?

John,
Can't be of help at all on LC's image scanning. That is not covered in the manual  ( only Mill and Turn is covered )so your on your owne.
Maybe someone  who tried using that module can be of further help.

Rich,

Thanks for the reply- Was just using the image scanning as an example - it also happens when doing 'normal' operations. Sometimes just clicking on one of the layers in the tabs will cause it to crash. Also changing layer preferences, ie tool/depth will trigger it also... With that in mind - any ideas on 'gldraw1' crashing and 'notify artsoft'?

Thanks,
John Galt

Nope, and the reason is that LC is what it is and will remain in a Beta stage and not sure if you will even get a response.

gldraw sounds video card related. Try updating our video drivers. If the PC has onboard video, adding a videocard may help.
