I know this is a silly question but, do you have your soft limits enabled? What version are you running. I could do some test on mine.
;D If you could see the things I have in my head, you would be laughing too. ;D

My guard dog is not what you need to worry about!

Yes soft limits are enabled( if i load roadrunner file i get message about exceeding soft limits)
But when i Jogg it will crash on all 3 axis if i let it jogg that far
I am running Mach3 Version 2.0.022 the latest it also did it in the previous version
On your machine can you jogg past the soft limits?????

You need to have a point to zero your mill, when you have a home switch you reference to it and that then tells your softlimits what its extents are. You could make a mark at the extreme of one end of each axis, jog to them and make that your reference , your soflimits should then work. You will need to do this each time you start Mach.

Thankyou that is what i thought,
Well that will give me the incentive
to get the limit switches installed

The unit i am using i got off of ebay
Its an old Sony robot  kind of light weight
So My Crashes are not as destructive as others!
It just keeps adding counts on the DRO
IT is just a testing platform for me to learn Mach3 and CNC Programing
Though it may work ok for a PCB Router????

Thanks for the help everyone
No rush on the softlimits just thought i was missing somthing
