Units per minute is faster than set feed rate
« on: June 10, 2011, 01:00:06 PM »
I am using Masc3 on a plasma table. I use sheetcam. My feed rate is 135 ipm but the unites per minute has been as high as 260.

I have no idea what, when or how I changed something to cause this problem.

I have tried changing the kernel speed, step and direction pulse and looked to see if I could find anything that looked related to speed.

In motor tuning I have velocity set at 200 and acceleration at 20 and fro at 100 percent.

If I change fro to about 60 percent or change velocity to around 60 then it will run up to about 135 ipm in the DRO for units per minute.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. I am about to reinstall mach3.

Thanks
