z height self reset
« on: November 02, 2006, 05:41:40 PM »
Hi, My system frequently resets the z cutting height midway through executing a file. It doesn't happen all the time. Can anyone shed light on this ?
Cheers

Do you have an external  button that will set the Zheight?

Have had similar experience - but it always appears to be the result of something I have screwed up.  Generally this has occurred when when producing G-code in LCAM and I failed to notice a "Z" height or depth change.  Now, I make it a practice to edit the G-code and look for changes in the "Z", parameters.

Found the problem which was interference from cad program minimised in tray bar.

Is this a closed case? Will you confirm that it is fine now and the error was caused by

Yes Problem solved. It was definitely some call the minimised cad programme was making.
