Do you have the correct port address?
You dont have a port assigned for the spindle step, you have pin 7 but port 0, maybe that is the issue.

Hi Hood,

I probably unticked (unchecked) the spindle speed box as I thought I would concentrate on the XYZ and try solve one problem at a time.
The port address is 0x378 for port 1, and 0xdff0 for port 2.

Seems to be working fine here when I scope the outputs of the computers port, the only thing I see is you had Jog control switched off so you would not get any jogging.

Do you get a nice square wave and what are your v/div and timebase settings?

No dont really get a square pulse but that is down to the scope more than anything , its a USB one. My real scope is at the workshop.
Heres a screenshot at full rapid jog.

Just happy you found the issue and time wasnt wasted as if you hadnt posted you wouldnt have looked there, or at least it may have been longer before you did.
