license on 2nd computer/encoders
«

I downloaded license to mach3 folder on 2ND computer but it is still running in demo mode.I am running a second computer and monitor to display encoders . The encoders are on the stepper motors which are closed loop between the motors and drivers. Will encoders show up for display even in demo mode? I will also use this computer for a back up and I am concerned that I can't retrieve the license agreement if something happened to the 1st computer. Thanks,Tommy

The licence is called Mach1Lic.dat and it needs to be placed in the main Mach3 folder, so check it is there and not in a sub folder.

And remember, if you are using your machines to generate a profit then you need to have one license per computer/machine pair.

Thats fine, you can have Mach on as many computers as you like, if you are making money from the machines then you need a licence for each machine )lathe, mill, router etc)
