"No Driver Sensed"
« on: July 18, 2010, 01:48:44 AM »
I Updated from version 2 to the current lock down. I got the "No driver sensed installed. Run driver test"  I was logged in as admin and I checked the box for driver install.
I am running xp sp3 on a intel quad core desktop. I was not having any issue until I updated. Is there a way to manually install the driver?
 Thanks,
 patrick

Have you run the driver test as it suggested? that should install the driver.

Try installing Mach over the top of itself again.

365 day work week is standard for me too  ;)
I repeated the install three times now, ran the test each time as well. same results.

Ok, two things I would try, first is redownload Mach just in case you got a corrupt install, the other is go to device manager and see if there is a driver there, (Called Pulsing Engine if I recall),  if there is delete it and  then install Mach again.
I am presuming that it is a 32bit windows version you are running as you said you had previously had it running fine, but thought I would just mention it just in case you have just upgraded the computer as the Mach driver will not work with 64 bit operating systems.

No pulsing driver in list. And the fresh copy gives the same result.    Windows is 32bit

I appreciate the the assistance thank you.
I am not sure I can find the older version, but I will look. Is there an archive of older lockdowns?

Yes, go to the downloads page and scroll down to legacy versions. In the text there you will see a link to the ftp site and most older versions are on there.
