Low Pulse Frequency
« on: October 17, 2006, 10:55:49 PM »
Hello,
I have an old laptop (dell 1300 mhz w/ 256 meg ram running on Windows XP) I loaded Mach3 Version 2.0.000. I purchased the license.  My problem is that In the diagnostics screen I am only getting a pulse frequency between 1200 and 1900 pulses. Does anyone have any suggestions ???

Thanks,

Jose

Look in the Mach folder and run DriverTest.exe and see what the results of that are. If its bad then you could try the optimisation steps. Some Laptops will work fine with Mach others  wont.

There was one version of Mach3 2.0 that made two of my computers run very slow.

Art did something with version 2.0b to fix "Repaired flash bug causing slowdown on some systems"
according to the Revisions List.

So make sure you are not using that version.
