Proximity Sensors Setup
« on: May 15, 2010, 11:49:27 PM »
Hi everybody.

I'm new to forum as well in Mach3.

I have just finished my CNC machine in which i have installed 4 proximity sensors, 2 for X, 1 for Y,Z axes.

What i can't figure out yet is how to set up my sensors in Mach3.
I have them all attached to pin 11 port 1.

All suggestions welcome.
Thanks
Sergio.

If you have them all connected to one pin then assign them all as that pin in Ports and Pins.

Thanks Hood

So you are saying that i should assign them to x++, x--, y++.....etc.
What about the X home, Y home...etc. Should i assign them there too ?

Yes, as long as the switches are only seen by Mach when you activate them then that is what to do.
