I have a doubt, I want build a cheap controller, but I don't know  if Mach 3 need specially requeriments in electronic components or card configuration. Someone told me something about id Mach works only with PICS, finally I don't understand this.

I don't want to build a controller and later don't use it....

Please, Help!!

Thanks in advance and sorry my bad english.

Mach sends out step and direction pulses so as long as your drive can accept that then Mach doesnt care.

Not sure what you are meaning by "special things"  If the drives can accept step and direction signals then they should work fine with Mach.

Sorry I have no idea about the components. Do you have a link to a manual for these boards?

Sorry, it's a board deigned for a electronic teacher in Argentina, he designed his own software to drive it, he doesn't know if works with Mach 3.
My problem is,

Iam building a cnc embroider machine, from www.cnczone.com  and I need a cheap and small cnc controller, in the web are many controllers plans, but many are too complicated for this single project. That than I send yoo is very simple to build. Give the option of half stept, and inputs. Finally I must discard this project because I don't want spend money in something not useful. If project is a router for example is valid a good controller buy or diy.

CNC controlled embroider, needs a little torque steppers, because only move hood and fabric. For that reason controller should be very small and simple.

If you or someone in forum , can sugest me a controller like a need. I'll be grateful

thanks in advance, and sorry my bad english

If the drives accept step and direction signals then they should work fine with Mach.
