NOOB and screen sets
« on: March 22, 2010, 06:59:33 PM »
This is probably a easy one for  you guys. I just "upgraded" my 1.94 version of mach to 3.04. Installed the new driver. But now my screen sets only fill about 3/4 of the screen vertically, horizontally the run almost all the way across. I have auto screen enlarge checked. They completely fill the screen in the older version. Any ideas?

Hi Hood,
I db'le checked to make sure the screen was maxed out, it was. I also completely uninstalled Mach, reinstalled 1.9, the sceen set took up all the available screen as it should.
Upgraded the install to 3.04 and the screen set was reduced in size again, the same as a complete "new" install of 3.04. I have attached the xml's of both versions maybe you can make sense of it. I wonder if another Jpeg is getting added in the background that isn't in 1.90

Thanks Mucho

Both xmls look fine when I load a standard mill screen, I dont have your dynaplaz screen so cant look at that but dont think it would be different anyway.
These versions of Mach you are talking about, where are you getting them from? Are they OEM versions?

The 1.9 was a OEM but the 3.04 was off ARtsofts website

Is it 3.042.038 that you mean when you say 3.04?

I have that version loaded here and the standard mill screen displays fine but if you direct me to where I can download the screenset you are using I will try that.

Well,
I set the screen resolution to 1024 x 768, then I "unchecked" the auto-enlarge,    WaLa, the screen set now fills the whole screen(20inch wide screen) ;D. Apparently when the rez is above 1024 x 768 funny things start to happen with the screen set(with mine anyway)  ???
Thanks for your input

Mike
