Really odd problem
« on: March 12, 2010, 11:39:10 AM »
I need to cut a path for inserting an o-ring. It is extremely simple, but my toolpath on the machine computer is not the same as my g-code. I drew it up in Bobcad and generated a g-code. The simulation works correctly. When I load it in mach3 on my office pc it works properly. My pc's are on a network and I load it in mach3 on the machine pc I get a different toolpath. I have regenerated the program and also created a different program and it still does the same thing. I am attaching a dxf that shows the difference.

Your IJ mode is set differently on the two computers :)

Config menu then General Config page second column about 1/2 way down you will see I J Mode, it can be Abs or Inc, change it to the way it is on your computer that is good.
