NEED SOME HELP CONGIFURING LPT PORTS
« on: November 15, 2009, 12:33:01 AM »
i have a new router from precision automated equipment in michigan. i have been experiencing problems with noise coming from the servo motors.  i think it is a problem with the lpt ports. so i had the lpt ports changed and installed another brand. i need some help getting the new ports configured. i called pae a week ago and no call back. my computer is on xp pro. they did send me one of their dell computers which is using vista and the noise disappeared (i don't want vista at all).  is there someone out there who could walk me through that process over the phone to get my xp machine running without motor noise?  i could call you so its on my dime.  thank you.  tony rogers aaasign.com  indianapoilis, in tonyrogers@aaasign.com 317 297 7503

Dont think the ports will cause noise, more likely something in the setup or that your old computer is just putting out a bad pulse. You could try the optimisation steps which are detailed on the downloads page.

If that doesnt help then installing XP on the other computer is the way to go.
