I to need to make a tangential knife for my router maybe you could help me out as to where to start. Like some pictures so i can see what you have done?
First question does it connect directly to your spindle and does the spindle handle the indexing?
Second question is your knife a wheel like a pizza cutter?

Thankx in advance

The knife does not attach to the spindle. The spindles I use are just a high frequency motor with no encoder for indexing. The knife I have is a heavy duty exacto blade or a utility knife blade. The part that holds the blade can be removed and a wheel can be used instead.
