your math worked out perfectly for me but sadly the x axis and z axis still moves when i try to home the machine.

What version of Mach are you using?
Can you post XML file for the lathe your using.

sorry for the delay, i have the newest version of mach 3 its like version x.x? im not really sure but i just purchased the license for the program also. Im not too clear on what you mean by the xml of my lathe but i do have their website on it if that helps you at all. Also if the machine is not homed out will that cause the z axis to constantly stop about .100 thousands short on every pass of a turn cycle? It almost looks as if i was making a taper on the part. I did it exactly, but it still wants to move, its doesnt like rapid or move quickly but small steps.

Post your XML file.
It will be located in the directory where Mach was installed:
C:\MACH3
the file name is: Mach3Turn and the file extension in windows will be "XML Document". Make a copy and give it
name like MIKEYZ and post it and i will take a look at it.
