Mach3
« on: July 01, 2009, 02:41:55 AM »
Hi forum,

I am presently running my cnc router with Larken Automation LCAM2.

Can I just plug in Mach3 and run my machine? Or what would I have to do to use Mach3?

Cheers....Kym

Kym,
Can you post a link to something which gives information on "LCAM2". You will need to properly configure Mach3 for
your drives. I would guess that it's just not plug and play. That said, provide some specific info on your controller
/ drives and surely someone can anwer your questions.
Does Larken have any specific info as i see they say it works with Mach?
Steppers or servos?

Just did a google and looks like it should work no problem as although its a DOS based controller it works via the parallel port, all you should need to do is install Windows 2000 or XP and set Mach up.
Just to be sure though is this the software?
