HMI

Hello:
Has anyone looked into  using a HMI such a Baijer E-100 for a panel or pendent?  It uses RS232 or RS422 protocol. I have no idea if Mach can communicate with one or not. Can one communicate to Mach3 through the serial port? I  know you can use  modbus and I saw that some ware in the E-100 literature that it could use modbus. An HMI can do lots of things and I'm hoping it can speak Mach3.  I'm not a very good wire head just a good machinist.
                                                                                   Thanks
                                                                                 Jack Adams

If the E-100 supports ModBUS then you should be able to use it with Mach but afraid I have never used or even seen one so cant say any more.
