Y Axis racking when sent to "Home"
« on: December 20, 2010, 08:10:28 PM »
I have 2 steppers on the y axis gantry which is R&P one on each side, they are the same brand, bought at the same time. Well the problem is when I "Home" the Y axis, one motor runs faster than the other. The odd part is when I jog or say "Go to zero" then they are fine. Any Suggestions? Thanks   Richard

In config check the Home speed % for each motor sounds like one is differrent.

Same thing happened to me the other day. Terry's answer is correct.
