Any ideas on what to check for the modbus setup?I must have a conflict somewhere
but I cannot find it.I have had it work but briefly.

I think I found it.I'm using a Cubloc cb290.This unit has a fair amount of i/o so would be good on
my machine.Turns out that in the basic code for the unit it needs a line to turn the outputs on.
They are in a high impedence state on power on.Remove the line of code and all is well ,exept
that there are no outputs. ::)

Well another very frustrating day trying to configure the Cubloc CB 290.Has anyone ever used this
with Mach3.Turns out that the outputs on the 290 have to be turned on with a line of basic code
and this seems to be the conflict.

Cubloc issue is sorted out.Seems with an up grade they did not check the modbus
configuration on the base board for the cb290.I struggled for too long before contacting the
cubloc people.I guess the lesson is we might not be as dumb as we think we are.
Now I've got some of the controlled functions working from the brains I wrote.
