Hi,
I am a high schooler with an old MicroMill DSLS 3000 that I have been trying to get working. I am using a desktop with Windows 7 (32-bit) to run Mach 3. Here is the user's manual. (
https://www.soigeneris.com/Document/Taig/MicroMill_DSLS_Manual.pdf )
Basically, none of the axes want to move. Here is what I know:
- I am new to Mach 3 and don't really know what I'm doing.
- When I Jog I can see numbers changing on the display, but I get nothing from the mill (except for the spindle which is always on).
- The Mill did work about two years ago and none of the hardware has changed since then.
- I can see the motors twitch when I turn it on.
- The enabled port does correspond to the parallel port attached to the controller
- Almost every other setting is the default.
Is there something I'm missing? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
- Ian
