css and weird true rpm do problems
« on: January 25, 2016, 09:22:45 AM »
Yeah I know, css doesn't work right lol. But it usually works good enough for some special programming. I just recently converted a hardinge hc and used windows 7 for the first time on a machine. So here's the problem. When I command g96 s500 m3 the spindle starts and the rpm is about right but the True spindle rpm   goes to 11800 rpm when it should be reading only a few hundred. If I go back to g97 mode it reads the correct rpm. Anyone ever see this. It's version r3.042.020

Sorry, It should say true spindle rpm DRO. This is strange. As the tool moves closer to the center, the rpms increase as it should but the true spindle rpm DRO goes down.
