Hello to all first post, i downloaded and installed mach3 demo to test.
I haven't a cnc router at today but want to learn mach3.
After starting mach3 i load the g-code roadrunner then press cycle start but mach3 run few lines and stop here, time elapsed continue to run and zero x, y is 0.0000 :



i check on ports and pins:



but i haven't no device attached so i unchecked all ports.
 
Is there any chance to run/learn mach3 without a cnc router?

Remove Mach3 and reinstall it, run it with the default setting and it should run the simulation with out any problems.

DON'T install the mach drivers when you are asked.

By the way, the demo version will only run the first 1000 lines of the roadrunner.

Thanks Graham found the issue: was my HIPS that block mach3 to run.
My browser run under the HIPS (defense wall) and all installation files downloaded from the browser are always under the HIPS.
So HIPS prevent also new installation to "damage" the system.
After uninstalled the HIPS and reinstalled mach3 all works great.

Hope this will be helpful to anyone that found this problem and may be a remark during mach3 installation.
