Not transferring properly to Mach 3.

Hello, I am new to Mach 3. I am able to draw what I want in auto cad and get a proper rendering in lazy cam. When I transfer the program to Mach 3 parts of the drawing are no longer there. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you, Scott.

Save the drawing as a version 12 .dxf from AutoCAD.
My guess is that some of the entities you're using are not supported by LazyCAM. Using v12 .dxf will convert some of them to entities that LazyCAM can use.

Scott,
When in LazyCam the intent is to define the machining you want to do to the profile. Once that is complete LC can then post the gcode to Mach3 or save it as a file for later use.
It is not automatic.

Thank you for your help. I will try the different file from autocad. I can get simple shapes to work fine. It seems to be items with outer shape plus drill points and center holes that are a problem. It is llike only 3/4 of the flat plane info gets to mach 3 and you cut part of the drawing off with scissors.

Scott,
Post the dxf file and someone will probably take a look and see what's going on.

Thank you again for your help and fast response. I finally figured out that I had not properly loaded the license file. Once I got it in, all seems good !
