Pokeys57cnc M11/M10 Issue
« on: September 03, 2025, 11:41:04 AM »
I am trying to get my Mach3 to work with the Pokeys57cnc with M11/M10 for turning my laser on and off. The issue that I am having is it is not allowing me to select the 8 channel plugin on the Pokeys settings. It is stuck on the 6 channel setting and that is not allowing the M11/M10 to function correctly. I have tried updated the Pokeys but I have not had any luck and I am kind of at a stand still with this now. Any help will be apricated

I dont think that the Mach3 plugin for the Pokeys 57CNC supports the M11/M10 command set at least it did not when I last used it.

That's a bummer. It is kinda the whole reason I got the board because I thought it did use it. I was reading last night that Mach4 does support this using a different M code, is this correct?

All that I am trying to do it have a signal instantly turn on a 24v relay.

The equivalent Mach4 commands are M63/M63 but you would need to check with Pokeys technical support to confirm if they are implemented in the plugin.

An alternative Mach3 or Mach4 fast switching solution is to use an imaginary axis Direction Pin. This is demonstrated in my short video linked here;  https://www.machsupport.com/forum/index.php?topic=12444.msg254635#msg254635
