I’m running Mach3 with a Smooth Stepper, a VFD using a 485USB for spindle control and a P1A MPG Pendant.
When I start Mach3 I sometimes get an error message that it can’t read the port settings for the VFD and it says do I want
to configure it. When I look at the device manager it shows com5 which is what is set in Mach3, but for some reason
it’s not seeing it every time. The PC is running Win10 and I usually have to restart it or just Mach3 to get it to work.
Has anyone had this problem and what the solution is?
