Problem with auto Zero tool
« on: September 17, 2018, 02:44:29 PM »
Hello!!

Im trying to setup the auto zero tool script. Initialy without the CNC (is in the shop). I have setup a key map to probe signal and run the script. Nothing happends when I press the key but also the Z movement never stops.
If I run the command G90 G31 Z-5 F100 to try out (in mm), the Z movement goes down forever (previously I run the code G21 just in case).

What can be wrong?

Thanks!!!

If you are not using the parallel port, you can't emulate the probe input with a hotkey.

That explains a lot....! Thank you!!
And why does not stop the movement at the indicated measure and say "Probe not find" or something? Can be the same issue?

Not sure what controller you are using, but it may not support probing properly.
