No device manager !

Hi all
I have just installed Mach3 and tried to access device manager but nothing happens when I click the icon, also I can,t view system information in My computer.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I dont think Mach could cause you not to see Device manager. Sounds more like a permissions issue. You dont say what OS you are using but the recent ones are very protective and deny users access to lots of things unless you have Admin permissions.

Thanks for the reply.
I am using windows XP and I am the administrator and have just found that I can view "device manager" via administrative tools / computer management / device manager, but not by right clicking "my computer" and clicking "properties"

Looks that you obtained a kind of "flue" on your computer.
Backup all your data and deep scan for viruses/malware.

Hi.
It would seem that a faulty hard drive was the cause of my problems !!
