Recommended Mach3 Operating System

I have access to XP Pro, Vista Ultimate, and Win7 Operating Systems. Which one would be the most advisable to use running Mach3?

XP is known to work well,
Vista, I personally dislike but others like it and use it for Mach.
Win7 32bit also is used with Mach by some so it all comes down to personal choice.
My choice would be XP as it has the least overheads and has been around for a long time so the problems associated with a new OS have been ironed out.
