General Mach Discussion / Screen adjustment
« on: June 26, 2008, 12:05:21 PM »
Hi guys,

when i load a g-code the screen with the toolpath shows up normally.
the problem is that if i zoom on it, after i edit the program the screen will unzoom and go back to normal position.
Is there a way to keep the toolpath zoomed as you prefere everytime?

thanks

General Mach Discussion / Backlash
« on: June 25, 2008, 11:40:37 AM »
Hi guys, i have a problem with backlash.
When i put the backlash on and i move for expample 1 mm, it moves to 1mm and then it does the backlash to correct.
As you know the backlash must be done BEFORE the 1mm movement.
Where can i configurate this function?

Thanks

Hi guys,

thanks for your answers even tought i don't understand what you are talking about.
As you can understand i'm a mach noob; the thing i wanted to know is if it's possible to do with wizard a conversational programation.
Since i have to do always the same drawing with difference values, i wanted to know if it's possible to make a program where you just change the values you need and then it will create a g code program. These values would be: thickness, radius, tool diameter, ecc...

Thanks for your answers

Thanks for the help guys thanks to you i learnt many things.

If it's possible to do this i'll be able to do all the things i need: is it possible to create a g0 movement from lazycam so that when the piece is done the tool move away from it?
More like if with lazycam you can create a g0 movement you want or you must do it with your cad?

Thanks

Thanks Chip,

one last thing; my drawing is divided in 4 chains. Is there a way to combine them all and have only 1 chain?
I tried with optimize and sometimes it combine 2 chains into 1 but after that i can't combine others 2.
