so  an accel of 40 or 50 isnt unheard of  on 270 oz steppers i just need to up the voltage is this correct
do you think if i try between 36 and 42 that wont be to much

if i have a gecks g201 and 270 oz rex step steppers and 24v 4.5 amp   im trying to get in the ball park is 500 and 40 way off or am i creeping to the sweet zone i just see on here some guys with xylotec boards  have accel around 16  just wondering if im way off or not
does lower accel give you more torque

i have no idea about the bitmaps or designing screens i fihured i would do it just like the mach 2 versions

i Have got my mach2 screens working .now im trying to set up mach3 i have the thc300  i got the new screens from j cullins
every thing seems to be ok but i have no buttons and some of the screens say bitmap goes here Im thinking maybe i installed it wrong .
i just coppied the set and the xml file to the mach general directory.
i have the auto large screen checked it just seems like im missing bitmaps or buttons. i must be doing something wrong  i have also tried every version of mach 3 still no luck . all help would be greatly appreciated.

when i load the gcode in mach 2 thc3000 all i see is a bunch of circles.  if i dont not use a the thc files and just run regular mach2 mill or mach 3  i can see the tool path just fine is the a setting i have to adust or something this is really weird

now this is wierd i ran 1910 in mach 2 and the 1910 works but not mach 3  i must have a setting wrong in mach 3......

update

well i just reloaded mach 3 and turned off my computer for awhile and turned it back on everything seems to be going fine i wanted to thank you so much for taking a look at this with me im very new at this once again thank you

im using the g201 im sorry i forgot to mention that the 10x step driver  so you think that if the motor has 2000 steps  im pretty much right with the 1910 steps a inch with a 1" pinion and a 3 to 1 gear head

welp went downstairs to try 1910 and it moved to inches so i cut it in half 955 and of course it went 1 inch wonder how i calculated it wrong with my calculations it still should be 1910 could anyone tell me where im going wrong
