Mach4 General Discussion / Cannot clear the e-stop
« on: November 29, 2017, 01:46:15 PM »
Wondering if anyone has had an issue with the E-Stop (Enable button) not clearing.  I just installed the newest version of Mach4 (V2) and cannot seem to get past this issue.  Everything was working correctly until I installed the newest build 3481.

If anyone has had this issue please let me know.

Thanks,

Daryl

Mach4 General Discussion / Trying to tune my motors
« on: March 27, 2016, 02:39:36 PM »
I just recently purchased Mach4, been using Mach3 for 10 years. I am using the PMDX-411 Plugin, which seems to be working quite well.  I am getting closer to the correct acceleration and steps, but I miss the function that was in Mach3 which would help you set the exact distance a motor travels by compensating internally for you when you ran their set Axis distance control.  Is there something in Mach4 to help do this?

Thanks,

Mach4 General Discussion / Windows 10 and Mach4
« on: February 16, 2016, 11:59:03 AM »
I have noticed many people getting Mach4 working with Windows 10 Pro. I am trying to use the Darwin Plugin, but no matter what operating system I use, it will not install correctly.  Always stating the C++ 2008 drivers are out of date.  I have tried Windows 7 32 bit, 64 bit and now on Windows 10 Pro.  I am using Run as administrator on every installer I use and I always get the same error.  I really do not want to go back to Windows XP.  I am looking into the PMDX-411 USB to Parallel adapter, but not sure it would work with my controller.  Since the instructions for all of these products never mention operating systems, I am looking to the forum for help.

Thanks,

Daryl

Could someone explain to me how to reverse the direction of the servo motor in Mach3.  The X and Y are moving the wrong direction
