G-Code, CAD, and CAM discussions / Re: G/M code Library
« on: April 26, 2007, 12:37:12 PM »
Graham,

If not, would you mind emailing this guide directley?  I'd like to start learning G code.

Thanks,
Greg

Are you wanting a tutorial list or code to make parts,  I wrote a 'how to' guide that shows examples of the common G and M code uses.  If I can work something out with Benny then I am willing to publish this on the site.  Its about 50 A4 pages with diagrams, code and explanations.

Here are 2 pages from the guide (low res screen capture)

Edit:-  I have one for Lathe and one for Milling.

Graham.

No matter which link you click on you never go any further than the main page.  Where do you get the download?

I would if I had the time.  I'm designing 2 CNC machines and those have taken up every spare minute I have.  The documentation for those is going to be tough enough since I'm taking photos of the prototypes as they are being built.  Then I have to sort the photos to get the ones that tell the story and add dialogue to those.  So, you see, I've got my hands full already.

Well, the actual link is  http://www.artsoftcontrols.com/Videos/Screen4/Screen4.html  Too bad there isn't some written documentation.

By chance do you have a URL for Off BOradway?  I checked one place and they want $640.00 for Madcam.
