Hello all,


I am running mach3 on a 3 axis plasma table using a  floating head switch on the z-axis.   For the mach display i am using  the  THC-300  screen set that is offered by cambell designs.   

For a test file I drew a simple  square and generated the g-code using  sheet cam with the THC-300 Post processor




Can someone with this similar setup help me clarify a few questions.


1.  When I change any of the values in the "settings" tab,  there is no effect    i.e no cut height change, no Peirce height change.    DO these fields work

2.  Do people set properties such as  Peirce height , Peirce delay , and cut height  thought sheet cam or do u  use the "settings" tab

hello all,

I am having a problem with my machine dro's upon startup. 

 I am ussing the thc300 screenset and everytime i start mach3 with this screen  my machine DRO's go to zero.   

I have looked in the the config tabs with no success.   Is there a way to disable this

Make sure you go to views and choose which screenset you would like Mach to use(thc-300xx).  I encountered the same thing.  After installing the THC-300 screenset and you re-start, everything is blank.

hello all,


I am in the process of installing the thc300  file set into mach3.

  I  have copied all the associated files and bitmaps as suggested by  bob campbells  installation  instructions  but when i run the "thc300m3"  profile  I have no screens or buttons!!!

Am i doing something wrong??

thanks for your reply.

I am using a Hypertherm Powermax 1000  so I guess table grounding is not a big issue.

I will ground the table to the same electrical ground as the machine with a 8 AWG copper wire  hopefully this will be sufficent !!

Hello all,

I am in there process of installing a cambell designs  "THC-300"   Torch height controller. 

 In the install PDF  it states that the plasma table should be earth grounded with a ground rod.

  Does everyone have there tables grounded to EARTH  using this method?

hood,

the bitmaps did come with the .zip package from bob's site and they were installed in the c:/mach/bitmaps folder but i still get no screens ??  is there a way to search the .xml file for the appropriate target for the screens ??

Guys,

I  have just  purchased a THC-300!   

I downloaded and installed the Mach3 plugins on bob's website http://campbelldesigns.net/thc-mach3-files.php but they dont seem to work!!   All I get is mach with no screens

Has anyone had this problem??
I would like to intergrate this plugin with the plasma screen set that cam with rev 3.00 if possible  ?? 
Can anyone shed some light on what i am doing wrong !!
