Oh one thing to bear in mind is Keling and often others state the peak torque most prominently, so make sure you look at the continuous and size by that value.

hello...

happy new year....

i have a cnc machine with stepper motor, gecko drives and campbell breakout board, i would like to change stepper motors into servo ones, i do not really know which kind of motor i have to buy, AC or DC ones? will my breakout board will work with? and my drives gecko?  i guess they are G230  thanks in advance for your help

hello again,

how do I calculate for the rotary axis?

motor is 200 steps, Gecko 201 , small pulley (12 teeth ) is  directly attached to the chuck.  wide one is on the stepper motor 60 teeth..

60/12 = 5
5*200= 500
500*10= 5000
5000/360=13.88888.....etc

Am I right?

Hello,

I try to write in Arabic language in both Mach3 as well as Mastercam , but the letters are always separated in both of mach3 and mastercam... attached one image of mastercam that shows the separated letters, the other image is a Word document that shows the right word that (form) that the word should be..so I can write correctly in word but not in mastercam neither in mach3 itself..

could I have your help please?

hello,

now I have 400 step..

200 step motor * 10 microstep gecko 2000
2000/5 screw pitch = 400 .

so if I use 127.2727272727272 in stead of 400 , the machine goes faster?

I would like to fix the larger or wider pulley  on the stepper motor..
