This controller just keeps getting better all the time. All the things we ever wanted with Mach3 are becoming possible with it. Also saw in the change log that they did some work on the threading code, wonder if the pullout got worked on as well.

The tapping looks great. Thanks for the video, Hood. And the macro is nice too.

Hi Jeff,

Greetings for acquiring this nice little lathe. 550 pounds for a table top machine!! Pretty impressive! What foot print is it? And the chuck diameter? Also wonder if most of the weight is the base or the enclosure and electronics.

Hi Hood,

Very nice! Enjoyed watching the machine running and changing the tools. Like how the table doesn't move and the head is that's moving. Thanks for the video.

Also, have to note once again your wiring and routing skills!

Thanks, Hood.

Hood,

Why do you think the pullout is a Mach3 issue and not a CSMIO one? There is no such an issue with the SS for instance...

Hi John,

I am curious, can you actually see the difference of a few bits? I actually was playing with the above mentioned IrFanView (which is a great program, by the way, thank you) and I could see no difference at all between depth of field 256 and 100. Actually, somewhere at 20I already struggled to see the difference. Either this program implies some other units or I am testing on wrong photos. Otherwise I can't tell any difference.

Really like the doors. Make the machine look real neat! Never seen that big whole glass doors on a machine without a metal cage. What is the way it was originally done? What thickness it the glass?
