dspMC/IP Motion Controller / Re: dspMC AxisWorks Programs
« on: April 11, 2018, 11:53:15 AM »

Sorry the last time we built the AxisWorks software was in 2012 so it will not work at all with the current hardware versions.

We integrated this software with the mach plugin to simplify installation.

We do have some demo programs that you can use to test/demo the unit without mach software.

look under C# sample projects.

Rufi

Please email or call us for help getting the HiCON controller to work with Mach3. Many people have used the controller with Mach3 but it will require you to downgrade the firmware on the controller.

What GCode you are running?  The interpreter in mach4 is different from mach3 implementation.  Do you have internet on the cnc PC? We can remote login using teamviewer and see what the problem is.

Hello,

The flash on the controller can be reset unintentionally if both the controller and the motor drivers are not properly earth grounded. When the flash is erased, all of the activated features of the device are removed. We will need the serial number of the controller so that we can provide you with an activation code for the arm enable feature. Please email support@vitalsystem.com with your serial number.

HiCON Motion Controller / Re: arch pro plasma mach 4
« on: March 09, 2018, 02:01:15 PM »
Hello,

We have spoken with you over the phone and emailed you several times regarding this inquiry.

The solution we provided is that we can offer our extended support plan and develop a custom script for your needs.

The M6 script that is built into Mach4 may not be capable of what you are asking out-of-the-box.

You will most likely need to edit the script to work as you intend it to.

At Vital Systems, we create the hardware to control motion commanded from Mach4 software.

We are definitely willing to help you write this script and we have emailed you the details of our offer on 03/07/18.

Hello,

We do not develop our own post-processor software but there are many vendors that do.

You can find a list of CAM post-processor's on the Mach Support website.

HiCON Motion Controller / Re: Motors won't sit still
« on: January 31, 2018, 03:39:15 PM »
The motor encoders will bounce if the motors are not installed into a machine. Once the motors are installed into a machine and there is load on the motors, the encoders should sit still.
