Please update your plugin to 2.50.24 . The new update should fix the rare homing error.

The motors are not enabled either in Mach4 control config or in our plugin config. Please ensure the motor settings are correct.

If you are facing further issues please email support with a screenshot of your device manager (activation tab) with the controller listed and send us your mach4 profile.

Thank you.

dspMC/IP Motion Controller / Re: Analog Outputs not working
« on: December 07, 2020, 02:07:49 PM »
Hello,

First I would recommend performing a factory reset on the system tab of the HiCON plugin. Then, set the output type for your motor to analog and set the feedback source to encoder. You must have set a feedback source for analog motor control. You must also enable PID and configure the PID values.

Confirm that the motor is configured correctly by performing a test motion on the motor's tab in the plugin window. (Apply settings before attempting testmotion.)

Confirm that the encoder is working properly by viewing the Encoder counters in the HiCON status window.

Assuming that the test motion is successful, confirm in the control window in Mach that the axis is mapped to the corresponding motor and that the motor has been configured in the Motors tab.

This is to with the PC not being able to run fast enough usually laptops have this issue. Sometimes windows updates or a complete system reset may help reduce the problem. Another cause is that there are other applications running on your computer which is using up the CPU time or also a virus is taking up the computer resources. But as long as you are able to run your machine this is not really a big problem even if the messages are displayed.

One easy way to fix this is you can reduce the Polling Frequency with increments of 5Hz - 10Hz until the message on the debug screen does not appear. The setting is found under the System tab of the HiCON Config plugin.

HiCON Motion Controller / Re: Integra 7766 - Mach4 Plasma
« on: December 02, 2020, 09:54:39 PM »
The old Integra 7766 is still supported.  Since we released a better plasma screen using tip voltage sensor, we stopped updating the plasma screen that use up/down signal from external THC unit.  We have many user who installed the old screen that you are unable to use.  See example here
https://youtu.be/rNXNdOduXRo

I have attached the manual and the screen.

There is a section to test THC logic using emulated up/down/arcok signals so you can verify mach, plugin and controller are working properly without firing the torch, similar to dry run.

It may be your external THC device you are using is not turning on the ARC OK signal at the right time.

The other option is if you like to use the latest screen http://www.vitalsystem.com/arcpro and get all the high-end features in the new screen, you can purchase the tip voltage sensor adapter board and we will replace your old Integra 7766 with the newer model 7866 at no extra charge.  You can still use the $350 activation you purchased on the new controller. Please email to support at vital if you like to pursue this option.

Currently our 7866 plasma package we offer a new Screen with profiles for the plasma settings which can be changed by setting the tool number in mach4 so that you can instantly switch your plasma settings when you change the work piece you are cutting and a new firmware along with it which has proven to be very stable.

We no longer provide support for the 7766 plasma setup but attached is the last updated screen for it. Please save your current screen/profile in case you need to go back to it.

HiCON Motion Controller / Re: Router relay control

yes applying the voltage to the "IN" side should activate the relay. If you are connecting to one of the outputs on the 7866 you can either turn the output on manually under "HiCON Status" or you can map it in Mach4 under outputs.
