you can email to support to get the activation key.

Thank you for your interest in the Integra controller.

If using closed loop option, you dont need re-homing after estop.

The encoder from drives/motor must be differential TTL 5V type.  You will need 7737 BOB to connect the feedback encoders from the drive.  There is one diff. encoder on the unit also that can be used for spindle feedback.

If your drive/motor only provide single ended encoder signals, you can purchase/build single ended to differential modules.

any question feel free to ask.

Yes the best is the highest resolution.

you will need to integrate the fwd/rev relay to turn off the spindle.

when you do M05, the analog voltage is still there and that's why your spindle keeps on moving.

if you have a forward/reverse relay connected to the spindle drive, then it will properly turn on/off.

HiCON Motion Controller / Re: Jogging bug one axis moves others

what is the motion threshhold value in each axis setting?  try set it to 1 or 2.

config > plugin > hicon > axis config windows

we can also do remote login on Monday to try to sort out the issue.  please message to support email address.

yeah if it does show up in the diag window then go for it.  Which controller model are you testing with?

The built in resisters are for pull up and pull down on J6 and J10.  There is no series resister.  so If you take 5v from a power supply and feed into these pins, it will damage the unit.

you can measure with a voltmeter if its below 3.6volts, you should be fine.  if more than 3.6v in on or off state, you should add a series resister between 560 ohm and 3k.

Sorry pin12 is not mapped in the software.  however you can use other pins on J10, eg 6,7,8, and 9.  These are already mapped to HiCON port 14 pins 4,2,0, and 6.

Use a simple switch or an open collector / open drain type output to drive these pins to ground / 0v.  They are pulled up inside the unit to 3.3v, so your external output will just pull it down. To verify your output is safe for integra, take a 4.7K 1/4w resister, tie one end to the output, and the other end of the resister to 3.3volts on J6 (2nd pin from Ethernet port, label is wrong on it, should say 3.3v).  turn on the output, it should read 0 volts. turn off the output, it should read 3.3volts.

regards.
