HiCON Motion Controller / Re: Rigid Tapping

The rigid tapping feature requires an activation code to be purchased in order to use it. The feature can be activated using the VSI device manager. If you provide us with email address we can send PDF manual on using HiCON rigid tap in Mach4.

The HiCON Integra 7766 has one differential encoder input next to the relay and DAC I/O where the spindle connects. There is also a single ended encoder input located on the board near the MPG port.

you can send your mach4 profile to support email and we will test it.  go to help menu and select package current profile and email the .m4prof file.

did you try restart mach4?  sometimes the vel/accel changes do not take effect right away.   Restart mach4 and verify motor tuning setting.  hope this helps.

We found that the M3/M4/M5 macros in your profile were corrupt.   once they were deleted from the macros folder, the spindle analog voltage started working.

You may need to upgrade the firmware on the controller. The latest release is 3.58

You can use the VSI Device Manager to upgrade the firmware on the controller

The software and instructions can be found on the Vital Systems web site
