PoKeys / Re: leds

The documentation of PoKeys is very helpful...

Please understand that not everyone understands/comprehends the same way.

What may seem "easy" to you is not necessarily easy to someone just learning. I've also had a bit of trouble understanding the Pokeys manual, and in this day and age, a video tutorial goes a long way.  ;)

This is not meant to offend PoLabs in any way, it is meant to help them to understand that not everyone has the same degree of intellect, and it would probably help them to sell a lot more items if they included video tutorials.

A good model to look at would be Vectric software. They understand that when you're able to spoon-feed customers on how something works, you get a great fan-base and happy customers.

Dave, only thing is I will be almost as terrified of going through and marking it as I would the actual table ;D

I hear ya, it's painful at first, but you get over it and keeping working  ;)

Nice addition, Hood, I do a lot of sheet type parts and I love having a tooling plate as well.

Hello,

Your machine or software supplier is actually the one to ask help for your specific Post Processor to be compatible with Mach 3.

I'm thinking this site should be added to the "Hall of Shame" thread?

Additional Pictures........

This is a very "different" forum from most when it comes to adding attachments or files of any kind. Here we'll go over the steps to do this......Also, keep in mind, you can only upload 4 pictures (please try to use 800x600 for easy viewing) at a time, so that is the reason for the additional pictures in 2 additional posts below. Click the thumbnail pictures below for larger pictures.

Ok, let's get started!

1 - After typing your message, click the "Additional Options" link down to the left as shown in picture 1 below.

2 - You'll then be shown a button that says "Choose File" as shown in picture #2. You'll notice the file types that are able to be uploaded to the forum below that button. When you click on that button, a dialog box will pop up allowing you to choose a file to be uploaded as shown in picture #3

3 - In this example, we'll choose the file "New Text Document" as shown in picture #4.

4 - We first must copy and rename this file (shown in picture #5)

5 - Change this to something unique such as the name that you chose for your screen name on this forum and then some random numbers after that to really make it unique!  ;) as shown in picture #6. Then click the "Open" button (picture #7 ) and it's ready for uploading as shown in picture 8.

6 - You're ready to click the "Post" button as shown in picture #7 and you're done!

I hope this helps,
Dave
