Mach Screens / Re: My First Screen
« on: December 01, 2010, 07:18:56 AM »
Yes that brings back a memory Gerry.
Can you remind me how to change the font of a DRO, there was a way but it wasnt straight 4ward from memory

Benny, when Mach 3 is started, click in the menu bar: "Function Cfg's"/"Fonts"/ then click the DRO button and change the font you desire that you have loaded in the Windows Font folder. After that, I always save the settings under menu item: "Config"/Save settings" and restart Mach 3 and you should be good to go.

Hope that helps,
Dave

Again, I know nothing about Vortech but the XML should have all the info that is required to run your machine.

Test at YOUR own risk or contact Vortech for confirmation!!

This Mach 3 folder is in the directory on the hard drive on your computer, wherever you (or Vortech) installed Mach 3. The default place is the C: Hard drive.

Ok, great, then just drop the xml file into the Mach 3 folder and you should be able to find that profile when you click on the Mach 3 "loader" icon on your desktop. That will start up your Mach s software with the correct XML configuration that you received from Vortech.

Hope that helps-
Dave

Nolan,

Keep in mind, I know nothing about Vortech, but an XML file "should" go into the Mach 3 folder if that's what you are using?

« on: November 28, 2010, 11:59:39 AM »
Hi all, is it possible to use 2 Shuttle Pro controllers in Mach 3? If not, can a plug-in be written for that?

Thanks,
Dave

Looks great, and thanks for sharing.

Like Tweakie, I would love to see more photos of the final build of the machine.

Also, please wear safety glasses so you can keep building the things you love!!!!  ;)
