Hello,

Unfortunately everything I've heard so far, Mach 3 will not run under Win 7 64 unless using an external motion controller. Are you using an external motion controller?

Software Requirements
Keeping with our home hobbyist roots, the minimum software requirements to run Mach are very reasonable.  Below are the specifications for running Mach3 stably.

Mach3 Minimum Requirements:
◦32-bit version of Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7 Operating System (64-bit cannot use the Parallel Port Driver, but can still use Mach3 with an external motion device)
◦1Ghz CPU
◦512MB RAM
◦Non-integrated Video Card with 32MB RAM
◦Basic Computer Skills (ability to copy/rename files, browse directories, etc)
◦Desktop PC (if using the Mach3 Parallel Port Driver). Laptops are not supported with the use of the Parallel Port Driver (the power saving features of the chipsets disrupt the pulse stream, PCMCIA and USB parallel adaptors will *not* work), but are supported when used with an external motion device.

What version of mach3 are you using?

I have the latest lockdown, and mine is different than yours. I may have changed it at some time in the past, though??

Gerry, I believe this is "Big Tex's" screen set isn't it?

yes I do, I will post it up tonight. Only problem is I think its white on pink

Thanks for the video, for some reason I have a habit of making things seem a LOT harder than they really are. Your video helped a lot and I'll give this screen designer some more use for sure.

Youve got to wonder why Art didnt make font selection in the screen designer instead ? (Another bug for screen 4)

Incidentally, is the new screen designer any better or is it just a new layout for screen 4 ?
Does it have any new and better features?
I have downloaded it but are too lazy to try and learn it? Is it worth learning and making a tute on how to use it instead of screen 4?

I have to admit, I've tried playing with the new screen designer "MachScreen" and not a big fan, but honestly, I'm just not giving it a fair try as whenever I do screen changes in my screensets, I always just use screen 4 as I do not seem to have the problems that many others do. I actually really like screen 4 but would still like to try and learn Machscreen someday as I hear nothing but fantastic things about it.
