Just so everyone is clear here, these "tags" are already installed on the cables inside the box when bought.  ;)

Not like they're removed when purchased like a piece of clothing on a rack-

Ya-Nvr-No's file works perfectly here using VCarve Pro.

I have a version of XP installed on a 2gig compact flash drive and I'm assuming that's about as bare as you could make a XP OS go without compromising the stability of it. Mach3 hasn't been tested on it yet though.

I think learning how to do this sounds like a great idea. Have you done some sort of tutorial on this in another forum that we can look over?

Thanks,

General Mach Discussion / Re: Cutting in the wrong place

Hi there

I'm not at home right now but I know from memory when create the drawing with cut 2d, I use the align centrally button and it is deffinately depicted directly centre of the work piece. When I get home I shall have another look though.

Regards,

Neil.

Hi Neil,

Just because you centered your work in the work area, this does not mean that your "origin" was located at the center. When you look at the software again, have a look at the top left where you setup your material. I have V Carve Pro, but I believe Cut 2D has this same Icon (pictured below). Open that up and choose the location for your job in that area.

Hi, Pat,

As per the font issue, please right click on the windows desktop and choose "properties". Then click "settings" tab, then "advanced" button.

Now what DPI setting do you have shown in the drop box, 120 ?

A lot of folks are getting the newer monitors, and we're all cranking up the DPI so that things aren't painfully small. This unfortunately makes Mach 3 fonts much larger and get cutoff :(
