Mach SDK plugin questions and answers. / Plugin dll Defective?

Hi, guys,

Can anyone please tell me why I would be getting these message boxes before Mach3 finishes starting up?

First popup box: Plugin dll defective. Reload (I then click ok and it goes away)

Second popup box: LCDDRO.dll defective plugin found. Ignoring...(I then click ok and it goes away)

Mach 3 loads fine but when I go to configure plugins, the LCDDRO plugin is not there, which is obviously what it was telling me when it first loaded up. 

This plugin is working properly on my other systems (same rev) but for some reason, on my router setup, it is not working.

Any thoughts?

Angie, just had a thought about you today, how about some sort of dust cover for the Shuttle (if you do buy another one).

Possibly a good clear cellophane would work well?

Hi, guys,

Anyone have a source for this size machine screw?

It can be a pan head or fillister head, and it can be a phillips or slotted style. I'm looking everywhere but I can find anything longer than a 30mm. Even if it's longer than 42mm, I can cut them down and they can be any kind of plating but not black or brass.

My ShuttlePro if failing and I am running out of functioning buttons to reassign.  I could buy another ShuttlePro, but don't like the idea of a device that only lasts two years.

So I was trying to find a way to put the button-push functions on another device while being able to still use the jog wheel of the ShuttlePro which I really like.  If you know of any (simple) write-ups re DIY remote pendant along these lines, I would appreciate your pointing these out.

Ah, I see, sorry to hear that. The only DIY pendants that I really have seen are this method of hacking the Shuttle Pro II, (which I believe I've already showed you on the Vectric forum):

Agreed with EJParrott, since you have the Taig spindle, I would personally get a 3/8" shank flycutter, and surface with that. Just take your time and don't try to take too much at once.
