Jim, if you have a microsoft mouse, it should have been setup for the "auto scroll" function when installed. That is when you push down on the mouse wheel, a cursor comes up with arrows and when you push the mouse up it auto scrolls upward and when you pull the mouse down, it scrolls downward. Does you mouse have the label on the bottom? What exactly is it called?

Some have a special software program that enables different functions to the buttons.

excellent, thanks for sharing and it's even more impressive that you built your own machine.

Congrats on the beautiful work-

No problem, Chip, I can handle it. It wasn't the first time and it sure won't be the last-  ;)

I actually found an application that allows me to set it up so that when pressing both buttons on the laptop, it allows the use of the autoscroll so now I'm golden.  ;D

Spinetti, never meant to intrude on your  thread and wanted to thank you as well for asking some interesting questions for the past couple of days, I've learned a lot from them-

lol! Right away, I'm labeled a drunk, eh?

Seriously though, I have a laptop so no wheel mouse button so I'm not sure how to access that operation. I'll give a websearch on that, thanks so much, Chip-

OK Chip, now how did you get the drawing to flip to the side like that? I've watched the videos and I must have missed that one!

Thanks for the info, Chip- It works now but for some reason the job I was working on at the time, it wasn't ...go figure lol!

As for what the object is, it's actually a round "cutter" looking object.

Interesting how it depends on different files on how fast it "travels" around the workpiece.

Works in progress / Re: New Screen released ( Beta 1)
« on: January 02, 2008, 05:15:50 PM »
Benny, is there any chance that you could just fix the "Display Mode" button on the Toolpath page of this screen set? I just love this screen set and I've spent hours trying to figure out how to fix it but I'm stumped....  :'( :-[

Thanks-
Dave

Just thought I'd show a pic of the Snowman keychain I did for my wife. The image is on both sides and it's black anodized brushed aluminum.

Thanks again to Chip for helping out with this one, I still haven't figured out how to "group" chains yet, though.. ::)
