General Mach Discussion / Re: Auto Tool zero. Which Input etc. do I Use?
« on: August 26, 2008, 12:09:01 PM »
Yes, Jim is correct but as for what exact pin you use depends on your setup. Depending on what BOB you use, the pins can be different from card to card or setup to setup so it's up to you to read your manual to find out what available input pins you can use.

Hope that helps-  :)

Kristin, you can actually move the layers around in the order that you'd like. The videos give a pretty good example of how that's done. I also agree with Bill, that is an excellent part to use a 3/16th centercutter endmill and that would be it. Since the last step would be to cut the outside profile out, I usually leave a little "web" at the bottom so that when the cut is complete, it doesn't "break" loose on you and flop around. Then it's nothing to just clean the edge up after pulling it off the table.

I still want to learn how to use the TABS function but haven't yet tried that.  :)

Whatever works then, right?  :D

Glad you got it working-

Before I completely throw in the towel, does adobe give you choices of DXF file types to save?

LazyCam likes autocad 11/12 type files. If there is something in your "save as" file type box that looks like that, that may be the problem right there-  :)

Thanks, Brett, I've actually been saving them to my favorites folder but I thought for sure there was a way to do that in this forum (like other forums) but figured I was just missing that option  :D

Thanks as always, Brett-
