Thanks, can you possibly tell me how you wired it up? Pics would be a help if you have them?

Not surpirising he didn't get back to you. For some reason he doesn't answer any of my questions here or emails to his site but I see he's logged in here quite often. Who knows.....

Thanks again-
Dave

So Dolphin was the best, so far, Rich? Can you name some of the others you've tried? I'm GCode challenged so writing my own at this point is impossible....... :D

Thanks,
Dave

I think this is a great post but I will definitely bet unless someone tells someone over at the yahoo Mach forum, this will fall on deaf ears. For some reason they don't pay attention to much here so if I were you, I would post this question over there.

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/mach1mach2cnc/

I'll be interested to see the outcome as I'm going to be getting into turning as well. I'm also betting that they won't do much for LCam Turn as that's why they've started "Lazy Turn" (separate forum here)

Good luck-
Dave

Looks like excellent work, my friend.

Are you using a software to draw these up or are the pre-prepared dxfs?

ostie01:

Just curious to know if you ever got this sorted out as I have the same DC controller from surplus center as well as you. Peter didn't seem to want to answer my question here so I thought I'd ask to see how you made out.

Do you have this all setup now?

Thanks,
Dave

Ok, I'm not a pro at this but I do recall a bad power supply creating the same problems after heating up and staring to die and would fluctuate it's supply.

I've also known computers to give the same effect as well when their power supplies are ready to die, so possibly that might be something to look into?

Very odd, that window should "snap" back into place on the left hand edge of the program screen.

I guess it's possible that you have a different version with that sort of "bug" in it, I'm running 3.00.2

I'd just reinstall it to get it back to normal or try a different version.

Hi Glen,

I actually tried to do what I think you're saying is happening, can you give us a screen shot of what it looks like?

Hit the print screen key and then open up MS Paint, then paste it  and then save it as a jpg file (name the file something odd so it doesn't get denied by the forum server) and then upload it here.
